Our Favorite Sour Pickles TV Videos

It’s 2022, so you know TV means just about any video longer than a TikTok you can access on your smart TV or whatever device is in front of you. That’s why we’re highlighting some fun YouTube channels to subscribe to and watch starting with Sour Pickles TV.

Sour Pickles TV is all about original, funny videos that comment on current events and pop culture.

Take a break from binging your comfort show (I switch between Community, New Girl, Gilmore Girls, or tours of tiny homes and van conversions depending on my mental state) and give these videos a watch for a lighthearted chuckle.

Brainstorming While Hungry

In this sketch, we get a “behind-the-scenes” look at a Sour Pickles TV brainstorming session to come up with new ideas for parody songs. The thing is, no one is very good at brainstorming while hungry, and every idea pitched involves food in some way.

Be ready to hear a gluten-free rendition of Britney Spears’ “Toxic,” a burrito-inspired parody of Marilyn Manson’s “Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This), and so much more with the cheesiest food-inspired puns in between each parody pitch.

Luke and Darth Vader Go To Therapy

What if Luke Skywalker and Anakin Skywalker decided to start family therapy?

This isn’t a question we ever thought to ask, but we love Sour Pickles TV’s take on how a therapy session would pan out between the iconic father-son duo.

May the force be with you, even in therapy…

James Bond Goes To HR

James Bond has a new mission: infiltrate an International Women’s Day poetry conference at a Holiday Inn in Boise, Idaho. Given Bond’s not-so-appropriate track record with women, he’s called in by workplace sensitivity officers H and R to get properly trained.

The training doesn’t go quite as planned.

Big Corporations During Pride Month

This short brings us inside a meeting of corporate leaders coming up with ideas for Pride Month. Instead of letting the one queer person in the room contribute ideas, the corporate bosses come up with a bunch of ridiculous ideas that are similar to the rainbow-washing and performative campaigns that we often see during Pride Month.
